India beat Iran by 27-25 in this mouth-watering title clash. Earlier, it was the women’s team that made India proud by also wining the gold medal in their match also against Iranian side. With back-to-back gold medal, India jumped up in the rankings to 6th spot of the medal table with 57 medals including 11 gold, 9 silver and 37 bronze. Similarly, the Indian womens kabaddi team notched up its second successive gold medal at the Asian Games, beating Iran 31-21 in the summit clash here today.
