WE GIVE GOD THE GLORY FOR THIS GOOD NEWS!!!!! This is the report from Thursdays PET scan: Whole body PET scan was performed from the skull base to the mid thigh area. The activity above and below the diaphragm is within normal limits. There has been complete resolution of the previously reported metastatic changes in the chest, abdomen, and soft tissues. Todays PET scan appears to be completely within normal limits. The usual activity that is seen in the heart, liver, spleen and urinary tract is well demonstrated. There is no evidence of hypermetabolic activity. IMPRESSION: Normal whole body PET scan. No evidence of hypermetabolic activity with complete resolution of previously reported abnormal findings on May 1, 2014. This represents marked interval improvement. We are just stunned by this awesome news!!! No evidence of disease!!! We have no idea if this will last, but we are going to ride the wave as long as God sees fit!!! As a reminder, Brooks had multiple lesions in both lungs, involvement in multiple lymph nodes, and also lesions in his hip, spine, and a rib back in May. (He also had numerous brain lesions, and the brain MRI two weeks ago, showed all lesions were gone except for one that appeared to be dying). God has a plan for us, and we are in the process of figuring it out! Brooks has found Jesus on this journey over the past few months, and he is really focusing on discovering Gods plan for him. It has been very rewarding, uplifting, extremely satisfying and long overdue. Brooks spent so many years convincing himself that there was no God, but God continued to send signs that Brooks could not deny. God is so good!!! We thank all of you for your prayers over these past months. We love you so much, and are so thrilled to share the good news!!
