******WE HAVE A ROOF!!!!****** Less than a year ago, this no-kill facility was considered an impossible dream for our county. Today....we have a roof! We want to thank you for believing in us and for supporting us in our mission to improve the lives of homeless animals in our county. This adoption center is being built, outfitted and operated using 100% donated funds. The LCHS board of directors is composed of just nine volunteers - most with full-time careers and families to care for. Isnt it amazing what citizens can do when we all pull together and make change happen? We are using almost all of the funds that we have raised on construction costs and we are working now to raise the money to furnish and operate the first and only no-kill facility in Laurens County.
