WE LIVING IN PARADISE The European Quality of Life survey - TopicsExpress

WE LIVING IN PARADISE The European Quality of Life survey documents and analyses the multi-dimensional nature of the quality of life in the EU. The survey began in 2003 and was repeated in 2007 and 2011 making it possible to meaningfully examine trends over time. In its latest edition, over 35,500 people in 27 EU countries were surveyed. The latest survey results, show the following: there are declines of over 20% in levels of optimism and happiness. Denmark still tops the scores in terms of life satisfaction and happiness, while Hungary and Bulgaria report the lowest scores. On average Europeans rate the quality of their public health services at 6.3 out of 10. People who rate their health as good or very good are significantly happier than the average. People are most satisfied with their standard of living. Trust in key institutions, governments and parliaments have fallen across the EU, yet almost everybody in Trinidad and Tobago, especially mainstream media is fretting about something. The EU as a whole scored 4 for government. 7% of people report great difficulty making ends meet. But musketeers in the COP want to determine which seats they will get and who will be offered deputy political leader in the ILP. There are large differences between member states of the EU, ranging from 22% in Greece to 1% in Finland. The highest levels of social exclusion are found amongst the unemployed, while those active in associations or participating in voluntary work feel more included. If the selfish ones in the COP knew of this, they will appreciate the paradise we live in. Yes paradise. Is that not how a foreign newspaper referred to us in reporting of a stolen Range Rover ? The gap between racial and ethnic groups is growing across the EU as well as perceived tension between rich and poor. Our country has always enjoyed racial harmony and there has never been any hostility between rich and poor. But these guys want to go and join with a man whose ambition is to create a North and South Sudan with two capitals - one in Chaguanas and the other in Penal. These are mypoic people, who do not have a long view. They have learnt nothing about the Liberal Democrats perspicacity in the UKs governing coalition. In Europe, people reporting difficulty at least several times a month, because they come home too tired to do household jobs, has increased from 48% in 2007 to 53% in 2011. These people in the COP have too much energy to waste. They are being neither creative nor innovative with their time. Across the EU, single parent households are disadvantaged in most domains of quality of life. 72 % of them have difficulty making ends meet. We living in paradise, that is why as Mr Basdeo Panday once said, there will always be some jackass who will want to challenge the leader.
