WE LOST GUIUAN CHURCH, a National Cultural Treasure and a nominee to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Parish Church of Inmaculada Concepcion in Guiuan, Eastern Samar, is known for its beautiful ceiling paintings painted in 1935, ornate retablos and estaciones artworks, as well as shell ornamentations around the baptistry and transept areas. The church was completely destroyed by Yolanda last Friday. Let us remember its splendor and magnificence.
