WE LOST THE PATTERN; IT’S TIME TO GET IT BACK! Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. Heb 8:5 God’s work should be done not in our pattern, but in His revealed pattern. Trying to do kingdom work without any consideration of God’s pattern, turns the work of the kingdom into a private corporation, which can’t produce genuine kingdom results. Like Mary and Joseph who left Jesus in Jerusalem, and traveled a mile without him before realizing he wasn’t with them, the church has lost the pattern of the work of the kingdom in several quarters, and it’s time to get it back. Mary and Joseph did what we should do; they traveled three days to find Jesus. The journey away is always shorter than the journey back, but it’s worthy than to continue without His pattern. To get His pattern, like Moses, we must be willing to go up the mount, away from the crowd, to get His pattern.
