WE MUST LEARN HOW TO A L: In what seemed to be only a few hours time, everything Job had held significant was stripped away. The pain must have seemed intolerable; the grief beyond solace. Even though he mourned his loss, however, his identity was not wrapped up in his possessions. What i am saying is Job took a beatdown, but he knew were the beating was coming from and why (Job: 1-13-19). Do we ever get caught in that trap, building our self-worth on what we own-our home, car, job, or even wealth? If those things are taken away, how would we feel? Self-esteem must be based on the fact that God loves us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to die for us while were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Gods love can never be taken away from us. @BRO.
