:: WE NEED HELP BROTHERS & SISTERS :: Theres just no other way to put it. Take a look at this video Ive put together. Its a compilation of stills from our various activities these past few years. From our humble beginnings --literally, in my backyard-- to today; where were hosting events for hundreds & flying around the nation. This is a grassroots organization with 2 missions: 1) Instruct conservatives on the how of minority outreach. Lots of people *want* a more diverse conservative base, but if just wanting were enough wed have one. The question is, how do we actually do it? We provide the answer. 2) Reaching out to our black & brown brothers & sisters with the truth about conservatism. How do we do that? The only way possible - by burning some shoe leather and taking it to the streets. But heres the thing...*WE* can go places and say things most of you cannot. And were moving the needle. Id argue that this little ragtag band of brothers (& sisters) has done more to move the minority voter base in this state in 3 years & with no money than the Republican party has in 20 years with its tens of millions. B/c we do it the old fashioned way But the facts are that the math of this organization is not working out. I ran the books over the weekend, so far for every $1 weve spent in 2014 weve taken in $0.93. Thats better than 2013, but still problematic. Despite the fact I/we get accused of it daily, were not funded by the Koch brothers, or the Tea Party, or anyone else. We are supported 100% by individual contributions. Last months Day of Freedom cost about $4,600. Contributions covered around half that. Meaning the rest...went on Derricks credit card. (again) It was written by a man far more wise than I that you have not, b/c you ask not; we need funding, friends. Were out here trying as hard as we can. But this aint free. Im posting this with the prayer and hope for 50 new Partners. We need them badly. Partnership with this outfit is a monthly commitment of $9.95.
