OK kitty lovers.....we are asking for your power of networking to help us find a solution to this heartbreaker......two of the kitties that were rescued from a senior apartment complex this week, Honey and Helen, we have just been told were the best of buddies, always sleeping together, one was never seen without the other. We were on the verge of separating them because Honey is FIV+ she was going to a rescue that takes FIV+ kitties. Helen is FIV- so we are still assessing her to see why she was limping and then planned on finding her a forever home. Now that we have this new information it breaks our hearts to separate these two kitties. Imagine having a best buddy and then not only losing him...you lose your familiar surroundings as well. The world can be a pretty frightening place at that point.
