,WE NEED OUR OWN SUG CONSTITUTION !!! A constitution is a body of fundamental principles, rules or esterblished precendents according to which a state, body, firm, union or organization is governed. It is a pitiable fact dat uptil now, the STUDENT UNION GOVERMENT (SUG) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, College of Health Science, Nnewi Campus does not have a working constitution we can really call our own. It pains me that uptil today, after a long period of time (More than 10 years), we still make use of the constitution of our mother campus, Awka. Sequel to this, the Union officials ably reperesented by the SRC, sat and set up a committee that will review/ publish our own constitution. On this note, we urge each and every one of us to lay his/her hands on the present one were making use of, go through it, spot out things you think are not supposed to be in it. Also, we need ur contributions towards making dis a better one. You can as well drop your comments, questions and contributions here or even my inbox. Furthermore, therell be a General Assembly (GA) for every member of our Union. Please do make out time to come and air your view on the happenings, events, progress, achievements, backwardness, flops, strength, weaknesses and finally the way forward of the Union. Finally, serious attention will be granted to those that will be speaking with respect to the constitution review. The Time is 12:00pm, tomorrow 10th of July, 2014. Venue: College Auditorium, Okofia.
