WE NEED TO ALLOW THE NDC AND GHANA BE THE WINNER TOMORROW AND NOT INDIVIDUAL WINNERS ................................................................................................................................... Finally the way is cleared for the great event tomorrow at the only garden city in the country, the Babayara Stadium in Kumasi. As we all travelled from our various homes enrout to Kumasi today, I will pray that God Almighty be our guide and bring all safely to Kumasi and also grant us peacefu congress come tomorrow and after. Yes God will be our guide if only we guide ourselves properly. Tomorrow event cannot be seen as a do and die contest between different parties but just an I house events among comrades and must be done and conducted properly. First of all I wish to urge all the contestants to be very mindful of their messages to their supporters. It is important for us to understand that anyone who is putting himself or herself up for any position is seen in the party as a matured person with respect. This respect must be earned and not something to get on a silver platta. There have been various comments, very unpalatable for that matter, coming from some camps of contestans and it is important to understand that the last minutes comment are the most important that can make or unmake our party and jeopadize our chances in the 2016 national elections. Contestans and their supporters must control their actions and utterances especially on the grounds. We need not to think that it is an all-die-be-die contest because all those contesting are believed to be capable of running the affairs of the party successfully. Those who will win must quickly make moves to bring the loosers together and make their supporters feel belonging to the great family. The unfortunate loosers must also control their emotions and not blame anyone for spending too much money to buy the conscience of the delegates. As it stands now every single contestant have given out money one way or the other to the delegates and I know the delegates will be making their own choices base on their perceived competence of the contestants. To the delegates I will say that you hold the future of the party in your hands and you have the power to determine our fortunes or otherwise in the 2016 elections. You must not vote for anybody because he or she has given you money. Please feel free to spend those moneys for your Christmas but listen to your conscience very well and vote those who have the capacity to bring the whole house together for victory come 2016. Vote wisely and vote only base on the competence of the aspirants and in the end the whole party will be the winner. As stated by the Ashanti Regional Commander of police, Kofi Boakye this morning, they will not relent to allow anyone to disrupt the peace in the city. Am sure we all know the man and his desire to ensure everyone respects the laws. We dont need to visit anyone, be he or she s contestant, supporter nor delegate, at the police stations before during or after the congress. We must ensure that we prove to Ghanaians that the NDC is not learning bad habbits from the NPP and that we remain the peaceful party that we are known for. We are the only party in the country to provide a presidential candidate to be christened by the whole country as Asumdwehene, so we need to protect this very important tittle. MAY GOD BLESS US ALL AND LETS HAVE FUN IN KUMASI AND RETURN AS ONE STRONG FAMILY TO BE CAPABLE OF CHASING THE BIIIG OLD ELEPHANT INTO THE BUSH FOREVER LONG LIVE THE NDC, LONG LIVE GHANA See you in Kumasi!!!
