WE NEED YOUR HELP! In a multi-organizational collaborative effort, more than 13 dogs will be taken to rescue by Carmen Trammell of Go North Animal Transport Collaborative (501c3 is Peaceful Kingdom). These dogs need to be quarantined until transport, and funds for quarantine are needed. Dixie Day Spay - Official Site provided veterinary techs and heartworm tests to screen dogs for rescue. Deonna Light provided SAFER testing. Carmen Trammel worked with Cleveland for a No Kill City to find rescue placements for these dogs. Cleveland for a No Kill City provided information to rescues, weighed dogs for transport, provided volunteers to assist with SAFER testing, and arranged transport. Sherry Shepherd of Knoxville placed C4NKC in contact with GoNorth, which is how this effort began. SPCA Of Bradley County - TN fully cooperated with these efforts, which will result in less crowding at the SPCA. Happy Tails Grooming Salon graciously took late-night phone calls, and reduced their rates to accommodate this effort.
