WE NEED YOUR HELP TOMORROW, APRIL 26, 2014: ARNO Needs volunteers to help our no-kill shelter be a better place! PLEASE GIVE JUST ONE DAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! ARNO applied for a grant with Pedigree Foundation and Greater Good. We were told more than 1000 groups applied and we were one of 48 who won! Quite an accomplishment. There goal is to improve shelter and feed the pets ($5,000 in dog food plus the building day)but here is the twist, they also want to draw new volunteers to ARNO. So even though we absolutely need and want as many of our beloved ARNO family here on Sat April 26th, we also need to bring in new volunteers for the event. They would like 15-25 volunteers. PEDIGREE™ and GreaterGood are teaming up to help support shelters and their dogs by transforming facilities through a national shelter renovation program. On Saturday April 26, 2014, PEDIGREE™ and GreaterGood coming to ARNO located at: 271 Plauche St Elmwood, LA 70123 (504) 669-1908 We need your help to improve day-to-day operations by identifying and executing needed beautification and improvement projects. We will be painting, landscaping, repairing kennels, making dog beds, and more. You don’t need any special skills – we will have staff on hand to train you on the projects – you just need a desire to help animals! The volunteer days runs from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Join us in making a difference for your local shelter and the animals in their care! Meet new friends, and bring old ones!
