Former commissioners of zamfara State, has regrets that they supported Abdul-azeez yari mafara to become the governor of the state in 2011. The ex-commisioners spokes to PDP consultative and reconciliation team under the aegis of minister yuguda.the commisioners stated that “We thought we did the right thing by supporting shehi to become the governor of the state. We left a united state; we also left a united party(we seeks apology today). the two serving commissioners and a special adviser to the state governor had last week dumped APC for the PDP. The commissioners are Alhaji Sanusi Maradun of Ministry of Social Welfare, Alhaji Kabiru Sahabi liman kaura, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as well as the Special Adviser on Local Government Monitoring Projects, Alhaji Ibrahim Kun chin-Kalgo. The PDP was one, zamfara State is the PDP. “There was no other party in zamfaras State other than the PDP POWER.The minister yuguda and mahmud shinkafi,sen.sahabi,hon.bilyaminu shinkafi and sen nasiha are here to support what we are telling you here today. “With all the best intentions, we supported their political career and ambition. We thought we did what was best for the state,but we meet other wise. As you know, “One thing is clear; we have accepted our mistakes and we are determined to correct it in 2015.The elders of the party who are here can corroborate what we are saying here today. We had respect for the elders of the party. We had respect for party members,” commissioners lamented. they also thanked general aliyu gusau for ”reuniting the PDP in the state”“we want to thank the governorship candidate of the PDP for the 2015 governorship election and the next governor of zamfaras State,alh. mahmud aliyu shinkafi, for miraculously rescuing the party from disintegration and working tirelessly to unite the members of the party. “By the special grace of ALLAH in February, we are going to the polls. The first election is to re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term. The second election will be the governorship where our candidate, MAS, will emerge as the next governor of zamfaras State.”inshaa allah.
