WE SHOULD BE THINKING ABOUT CHANGE BEFORE ITS SUDDENLY THRUST UPON US. BY THIS I MEAN PREPARING PSYCHOLOGICALLY FOR THE EVENTS IN OUR LIVES THAT WE KNOW ARE GOING TO HAPPEN. .EVENTS SUCH AS ,OUR CHILDREN LEAVING HOME AND RETIRING, AND FOR THE OTHER CHANGES THAT MIGHT HAPPENSTANCE. BY THIS I MEAN THAT WE SHOULD NOT PUT ALL OUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET AND MAKE WORK OR CHILDREN THE BE ALL AND END ALL OF OUR LIVES. WE HAVE TO DO THINGS FOR OURSELVES SO THAT WE RETAIN OUR INDIVIDUALITY, SENSE OF SELF-VALUE, AND SENSE OF PURPOSE. OTHERWISE OUR IDENTITY GETS LOST IN THESE SET ROLES, AND WE HAVE NOTHING IN PLACE TO DISTRACT US AND HELP US EVOLVE INTO THE NEXT TRANSITION OF OUR LIFE.... “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” ---------Andre Gide - “Life is like a game of chess. To win you have to make a move. Knowing which move to make comes with IN-SIGHT and knowledge, and by learning the lessons that are accumulated along the way. We become each and every piece within the game called life! -----― Allan Rufus “Your inner strength is your outer foundation” -----― Allan Rufus, “IF YOU CHOKE YOUR POTENTIAL BEFORE IT HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A POSSIBILITY YOU WILL NEVER REACH YOUR DESTINY” ―---- Mo Stegall
