WE work hard so THEY dont have to. This is how it works in any human economy, whether capitalist, socialist, or dictatorship: those who make the rules take the lions share of the wealth. The downfall of _all_ human economies is the corruptibility of human nature. Further, individuals who enjoy abusing power-over-others will compete harder to attain a powerful position, than those who seek power to _help_ others. And even further, it is natural and predictable that unscrupulous persons have a MATHEMATICALLY SUPERIOR OPPORTUNITY to attain positions of power than their more ethical and scrupulous competitors. The ADVANTAGE that capitalism has over GOVT-CONTROLLED ECONOMIES is that capitalism divides and thus IMPEDES those who wield economic power. Treated unfairly citizens have the onerous opportunity to gain redress through a complicated judicial system. All govt-controlled economies place power with the govt, such that citizens have no alternative, except the power to vote, which only works to your benefit if a majority agrees with you.
