WEATHER BULLETIN NUMBER SIX TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING: TROPICAL STORM “VINTA” (KROSA) ISSUED AT 11:00 AM, 30 OCTOBER 2013 (Valid for broadcast until the next bulletin to be issued at 5 PM today) “VINTA” HAS SLIGHTLY INTENSIFIED AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE WEST TOWARDS THE ISABELA-CAGAYAN AREA. Location of eye/center: At 10:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm “VINTA” was estimated based on all available data at 700 km East of Casiguran, Aurora or at 740 km East of Ilagan, Isabela(16.5°N, 129.4°E). Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph . Movement: Forecast to move West at 22 kph. Forecast Position: Tropical Storm “VINTA” is expected to be at 280 km East of Ilagan, Isabela by tomorrow morning and at 100 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur by Friday morning. By Friday evening it is expected to be outside the Philippine Area of Resposnsibility (PAR) and at 610 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur by Saturday morning.
