WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE MIDLANDS (co the met office) EAST MIDLANDS (WEST MIDLANDS FOLLOWS) Headline: Dry with sunny spells. Very warm, locally hot. Today: Any isolated patches of mist or fog around dawn, quickly dispersing. The rest of the day dry with long sunny spells and light winds. Very warm, locally hot. Maximum Temperature 27 °C. Tonight: It will be a dry night with long clear periods, and this may allow isolated mist or fog patches to form. Minimum Temperature 13 °C. Sunday: Continuing dry with long sunny spells, but perhaps a little more patchy cloud. Hot inland, but cooler along the Lincolnshire coast. Maximum Temperature 28 °C. Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Continuing dry and very warm with sunny spells, although more in the way of cloud is likely, especially on the coast. Perhaps an isolated shower over the Peak District. WEST MIDLANDS Headline: Dry, fine and sunny. Today: Any early mist and fog patches will clear to leave a dry and fine day with some prolonged spells of strong sunshine, and light winds. This will lead to it feeling very warm. Maximum Temperature 26 °C. Tonight: Dry, with light winds and mostly clear skies. It will also stay warm in the south whilst the odd patch of mist is also possible. Minimum Temperature 13 °C. Sunday: Another fine and sunny day, with any isolated early morning mist patches quickly clearing. Feeling very warm, and perhaps becoming hot. Maximum Temperature 28 °C. Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Remaining dry and fine with lengthy spells of summer sunshine. With only a light breeze, it will also stay very warm, and perhaps hot at times in the south.
