WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE MIDLANDS (co the met office) EAST MIDLANDS (WEST MIDLANDS FOLLOWS) Headline: Dry, hot and sunny away from the Lincolnshire coast. Today: Another dry and mostly sunny day, although areas of mist or low cloud may affect the Lincolnshire coast at times, especially later. Very warm inland, cooler near the coast as an onshore wind develops. Maximum Temperature 29 °C. Tonight: This evening mist and low cloud will become more extensive along the coast. Later tonight the mist and low cloud will extend inland to cover most places, bringing hill fog. Minimum Temperature 14 °C. Saturday: After a generally overcast start the sun will gradually break through across most inland places, but cloud and mist will linger along the coast. It will feel noticeably less warm. Maximum Temperature 24 °C. Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Sunny spells, although rather more cloud around than recent days, especially across eastern areas. Staying cooler along the coast, while elsewhere temperatures increase each day, becoming very warm again. WEST MIDLANDS Headline: Sunny and hot again. Today: Another fine and dry day. There will be a lot of sunshine making it feel hot again, with perhaps some patchy fair weather cloud developing this afternoon. Maximum Temperature 29 °C. Tonight: A fine evening with plenty of sunshine. It should remain dry with largely clear skies for much of the night, although cloud is set to spread in from the east. Minimum Temperature 14 °C. Saturday: Fairly cloudy at first, especially in the east. Through the day the cloud should burn away leaving a sunny afternoon for many. Maximum Temperature 26 °C. Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: It is set to stay fine and largely dry with some cloud at times but also plenty of sunshine. Isolated thundery showers may develop on Monday and Tuesday.
