NO SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL, but there are times of HEAVY RAINS that last in 3 to 8 minutes only. ⊙ COLD WAVE over China-Taiwan area approaching Extreme Northern Luzon. ☆ FORECAST IN NEXT 7 DAYS * within 110E to 160E & Equator to 30N * ⊙ NO MAJOR DISTURBANCE/S is expected in next 5 days. ■ Madden-Julian Oscillation(MJO) Update ■ ※ As of Nov 11 ※ → The Madden—Julian Oscillation (MJO), currently located over the western hemisphere, has remained weak this past week and hence is unlikely to have had a strong influence on recent tropical weather. There is agreement between climate models that the MJO is likely to strengthen over Africa and move slowly eastwards over the Indian Ocean in the next two weeks. There is some variation in how fast the MJO is likely to move across the Indian Ocean, with some models having it enter the Maritime Continent at the end of the fortnight.
