WEATHER UPDATE: Issued at 5:00 a.m., 1 November 2014 Valid beginning: 5:00 a.m. today until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow Synopsis: At 4:00 AM today, Tropical Storm PAENG was estimated based on all available data at 1,102 km east of legazpi city (13.1°n, 133.9°e), with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 15 kph. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon. Forecast: CALABARZON, Bicol Region and the provinces of Romblon, Marinduque, Mindoro and Samar will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos Region will exprience partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas.
