WEATHER UPDATES 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00 PM 03 November 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 PM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 430 km east of Mindanao (8.3ºN, 130.5ºE) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao. Easterlies affecting the eastern section of Luzon. FORECAST: Mindanao, central and eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the east will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast will prevail over Visayas and blowing from the northeast to north over Mindanao with slight to moderate seas.
