WEBSITE NEWS: • We’ve had countless comments about the website with 99.9999% positive! We’re just getting use to operating the site and putting systems in places over the coming weeks. • We’ve had a few questions about why their little town didn’t get included. It was a tough choice for 2-3 towns/villages. If you haven’t been included then look at the nearby town; the reality is it will be very similar, if not the same 99% of the time. We would love to include everyone but for multiple reasons it’s just not possible. We think the towns included give a fantastic reflection of the weather in Canterbury • We’ve had a few suggestions and received some constructive feedback and will be working on those aspects of the coming weeks. • Web traffic! We had significant interest yesterday and using Google analytics were able to see some very interesting stats! • A number of people have stated they want us to continue to use FB and are worried we’ll stop. FB will continue to play a role in how we operate. Each day two situation statements will be issued and additionally when required posts will be issued. If you want all the detail and live weather in your area...then the website is the place to go. • Apps! Yes, we’ve had countless emails/messages about doing an App. This will be looked at seriously over the coming months and something we may look into. • Our forecasts are all carefully moderated. 1-7 days, no computer generated forecasts! How good is that?? A real bonus! Our Webcam page is the 3rd busiest page! We’re after more webcams around the region! Webcams are awesome sources of weather information and equally a great advertising tool for your service or business!
