WED. 10TH SEPTEMBER, 2014 CHARACTER TRAITS OF CHAMPIONS 2 I Cor. 9:26-27, I Sam. 17:45-47 Enthusiasm: champions are enthusiastic about what they do. They love what they do. David’s love for God made him enthusiastic about his assignment. You should be enthusiastic about what you do in life and what you do in church. Perseverance: champions persevere through thick and thin. Despite the dangers in the wilderness, David persevered taking care of his father’s sheep. Confidence: champions exude confidence. A way to build confidence is by being with the Lord. Positive Attitude: champions have a positive outlook to life. They are not negative, they are hopeful. Vision: champions know what they want and go for it. Develop the character traits of champions. Since habits shape your character, intentionally develop godly and healthy habits. Prayer: O God help me to develop the character traits of a champion in Jesus Name.
