WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: a long one here but appropriate. So bottom line Docs say Joe wont have more than 48 hrs at this point. He is medically determined to be brain dead at this point because of not responding to any further testing. Decisions will have to be made Friday for the family for further action on Joes behalf. PERSONALLY in my opinion, we have already been down the road of hearing diagnosis being he is brain dead and hasnt responded to testing but then MIRACULOUSLY moves... SPECIFIC MEDICAL PRAYER REQUEST: Pray that when they do further cat scans as they are RIGHT NOW- that JOE MOVES!!!!!! But even if he doesnt it is my spirits earnest belief that Joe may be in this any moment gone state, for there to be URGENCY for there to be the SPIRITUAL and RELATIONAL HEALING that surrounds some of Joes family and friends. It breaks my heart that it takes these kind of circumstances for people to understand the importance of truly loving another person and have the ability to put away petty or even genuinely sincere hurtful things. ONLY in experiencing GODS Love and Mercy and Forgiveness over ones OWN sin, can you UNCONDITIONALLY love and forgive and have mercy on another. (Jesus even KNEW he would be betrayed and hated and killed by his enemies and friends but he LOVED SACRIFICIALLY serving them ANYWAY).... So MOST IMPORTANT PRAYER REQUEST: Death is not the worst thing for Joe. Though it is our deep desire, Physical Healing for joe is not the greatest prayer request- SPIRITUAL HEALING is... for those that are unsaved to have this circumstance help them receive Gods true love, those that are unsaved that think they are saved, -to be brought to true repentance over their own sin, and for those of us saved that have either fallen away to be brought back or simply be re-awakened to what being a Christian really means and to actually live it deeper, more confidently and intentionally with others; letting go of whatever really shouldnt matter. ...And the greatest of these is love. -1 Cor. 13:1-13 As Victoria WhiteBear said- All that joe was worried about with the people he loved- God is taking care of in his sleep. It is my HOPE and PRAYER, (until the news is released that joe has passed), that God WILL BRING A MIRACLE and allow physical healing for joe to experience the fruit of our prayers for the spiritual and relational healing that is and we are praying - to take place. IN LIGHT OF THE AWAITED HOPE AND PRAYER FOR A MIRACLE.... Im asking all of us to (wherever we are) to corporately FAST and PRAY, tomorrow, THURSDAY for all of this and then (prayerfully) ourselves get to experience our own good Friday ..... Ultimately (no matter if he passes or is still critical or better)... CELEBRATE JOES LIFE on his Birthday this Sunday October 19th. ITS A DANCE DAY at my place all day- all invited. We are throwing a birthday bash how joe likes it!!!! We pray we can celebrate him recovering then, truly. We are praying God lets him speak on his birthday.
