WEDNESDAY STORY. READ SHARE AND LEARN PROFESSOR AND THE DONKEY The professor was too tired to feed his donkey so he asked his wife to do it. A disagreement arose many words followed until it was finally decided that the one who would again say the first word would feed the donkey. The professor sat himself forlornly in a corner. His wife was bored so she went off to the neighbors’. At midday she sent a boy back to her house with a tureen of soup for the professor. In the meantime a thief had broken into the professor’s house and taken everything he could lay his hands on. The professor remained so quiet and unmoved that the thief even stole the turban off his head. At that point the boy arrived with the soup. The professor, not willing to say a first word, tried to explain to the boy with gestures that a thief had been there. He kept pointing to his turbanless head to show that even his head was left bare but the boy misinterpreted that to mean that the professor wanted to soup on top of his head. So he poured it into professor’s bare head and then went off to tell his wife of the curious turn of events. She hurried home, found all the doors open and the drawers of the cabinets empty, and began to scold her husband at the top of her voice. Thereupon the professor said triumphantly,” Now go and feed the donkey and don’t forget all the woe your bullheadedness has brought upon this household.” LESSON George Eliot once said; “What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories.” —Good people, communication is the solvent of all problems and is the foundation for personal development. If we center ourselves within the heart and control our thoughts, we can find the balance and harmony in every situation. Therefore, have the courage to be sincere, clear and honest. This opens the door to deeper communication all around. It creates self-empowerment and the kind of connections with others we all want in life. Speaking from the heart frees us from the secrets that burden us. These secrets are what make us sick or fearful. Speaking truth helps you get clarity on your real heart directives. A BLESSED DAY TO MY CONGREGATION.
