WEEK 2: FULL OF SURPRISES Week 2 in the NFL had eye-opening wins and a few revelations. Seattle (Seattle!) was outplayed by San Diego, the Eagles won a tough matchup in Indy, Chicago came back from death to upset San Fran and the Browns helped the Saints start 0-2. Besides the surprising wins, there were some discoveries made in the new season. The Chiefs freefall after blowing last years playoff game seems real, Green Bay will be in a struggle every week, and that the Giants will be absolutely horrendous this year! We saw a few surprising outcomes in the Network for Week 2. The highest scoring team in the league last year, Deacon Boyz, is now sitting with an 0-2 record after getting the taste knocked out of their mouth against THE TRUTH. Tuff Love, despite having Nick Foles and Shady McCoy, got ran out of the building by Smash Mouth and his Cowboy DeMarco Murray. Finally, the expansion Team Lehigh led by their brash and bold owner has not only taken two Ls on the chin in the early season but has scored lower than any team by a large margin! Uh-oh... The Game of The Week in the league showed again how a dominating defending champion can be proved mortal. The Strike First crew got a mild upset from the hands of the very impressive Kiss The Ring squad. The Strikers have big name talent in their lineup (Aaron Rodgers, Dez, Vernon Davis), but the potential points that will come from the KTR roster will be tough for anybody to handle this year. Proved to be just as good as advertised, as the Champs lost a close one, 92.80 to 86.90. In other matchups, The Trogs stomped all over the Argos and The Vantage Masters had a high-powered week thanks to Sproles and Brandon Marshall and cruised by the Express. WEEK 3: YES, THINGS JUST GOT REAL GAME OF THE WEEK: DEACON BOYZ (0-2) VS. SMASH MOUTH (1-1) The Madden Division Champs of 2013 must now avoid getting swept by their division rivals this week, as Deak tries to get a much needed Dub against Smash Mouth. The SM crew can be scary good one year, scary bad the next. Considering they just blew away Tuff and went toe to toe with TRUTH before losing a tough game, it seems like theyll be a factor this year. The Deacon Boyz depend sooo much on how the Niners do, they have to hope to get a much better game from them vs Arizona than they did against the Bears last week. Smash Mouth has scoring potential throughout their roster, it just depends who they start. Deak cant afford to go 0-3. Other matchups to watch include Kiss The Ring trying to stay undefeated against a solid Hollister club and THE TRUTH trying to sweep the Madden going up against their rivals, Tuff Love.
