Thursday, August 15, 2013 · Kasich announced his plan to enact a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution and called on states to lead the effort. The governor also called for the Ohio General Assembly to help jump start the process by passing a resolution calling for a constitutional convention that would approve a balanced budget amendment. Friday, August 16, 2013 · Kasich announced the appointment of Michael R. Goulding of Toledo (Lucas Co.) to serve as a judge on the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas.
