Tuesday, November 5, 2013 · Kasich announces reappointments to the Board of Building Standards, the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission, and the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 · Kasich joined Daniel Libeskind, designer of the Ohio Holocaust and Liberators Memorial at the Ohio Statehouse, for a memorial groundbreaking ceremony. · Kasich announced appointments to the Board of Building Standards, the Board of Executives of Long-term Services and Supports, the Ohio Expositions Commission, and the Industrial Commission Nominating Council. · Kasich signed two bills into law. Thursday, November 7, 2013 · Kasich attended the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Columbus (Franklin Co.) where he delivered remarks and presented awards to the inductees. · Kasich denied a request for executive clemency for Ronald Phillips. Friday, November 8, 2013 · Kasich issued a resolution in honor of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11, 2013. · Kasich announced appointments to the Accountancy Board, the Local Government Innovation Council, the Board of Building Standards, the Ohio Water Advisory Council, and the Industrial Commission Nominating Council. · Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor joined Senator George V. Voinovich, ODOT Director Jerry Wray and Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson for the dedication of the George V. Voinovich Innerbelt Bridge in Cleveland (Cuyahoga Co.) where she discussed the importance of the project and other infrastructure projects to Ohio’s economy.
