WEEK OF AUGUST 5TH, 2013 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Choices BLACKENED CATFISH WITH FRESH LEMON – ADD $3.00 Fresh catfish fillet topped with spicy blackening spices and broiled with fresh lemon. Served over steamed, organic jasmine rice and with a local seasonal vegetable. MIXED BEAN CHILI - VEGETARIAN Organic mixture of beans and chickpeas simmered in a tomato – chili sauce with onions and local peppers. Served with a side of sour cream. APPLE – PECAN CHICKEN SALAD Hormone/antibiotic free chicken breast, tart Granny Smith Apples, and local pecans tossed with our white wine and ginger mayo. Served over a bed of local greens. FRENCH TOAST Locally made bread (daily choice) dredged in our local, free range egg custard and pan fried in organic, unsalted butter. Served with real maple syrup and slice of thick cut bacon. CLASSIC SCRAMBLE Local free range eggs (2 eggs) from Green Bee Farms scrambled, served with roasted local sweet potatoes, and a slice of thick cut bacon. CLASSIC MINI MEATLOAF Local grass fed ground beef miniature meatloaf topped with “Jacob’s Crazy Good Ketchup”. Served over mashed potatoes and with a local, seasonal vegetable. BACON – CHEDDAR MINI FRITTATAS 2 mini local free range egg frittatas (eggs from Green Bee Farms) loaded with bacon and cheddar cheese. Served with herb roasted local potatoes. WEEK OF AUGUST 5th, 2013 Thursday and Friday Choices VOODOO CHICKEN Hormone/antibiotic free chicken breast roasted and topped with our Award winning Voodoo glaze! Served over organic mashed sweet potatoes. PEANUT BUTTER BANANA PANCAKES Our organic, multigrain pancakes (2) infused with organic peanut butter and bananas. Served with real maple syrup and a slice of thick cut bacon. N.C. CHUTNEY PORK LOIN CHOP Hormone/antibiotic free pork loin chops roasted ad topped with Mrs. Picky Fanicky’s N.C. Chutney. Served over organic cheese grits and with a local, seasonal vegetable. FARMER’S DAUGHTER BREAKFAST 2 local free range eggs (Green Bee Farms) scrambled and served with a slice of thick cut bacon and side of fresh fruit. MAMASAN SPICY ASIAN MEATBALLS Hormone/antibiotic free ground turkey meatballs seasoned with ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Tossed with a hoisin-sesame glaze, shredded carrots, scallions, and noodles. Please note, while we always try to stick to the menu exactly, Mother Nature does not always cooperate!
