WEEK OF DECEMBER THE 8TH Monday night beginner lessons will be the second week of Rumba. We will cover the side basic, parallel rocks, and rumba close. After the lesson, 6-7 pm, there is a half hour practice. Wednesday night will be the second week of Rumba beginner and intermediate lessons. The intermediate class runs from 7-8 pm, with the beginner class following from 8-9 pm. In intermediate, after a quick review, we will be covering the walkaround to right and walkaround to left. The beginner class will cover the side basic, parallel rocks, and rumba close. The structure of these classes focus to help the leads retain the new moves - less moves, more music, more practice! This Friday, the 12th, is our Holiday Party! We will be having a pot luck dinner from 6-7pm. I will provide the main dish. I ask that if you attend, you bring something to share. Dishes already being brought are... ambrosia salad, vegetable tray, egg rolls, and a dessert dish. Please let me know if you are bringing a dish and what it is so I can let others know. Dancing will start at 7 and go until 10:30. Wear something festive, if you would like. The cost is $10 per person. BYOB. I hope to see you there!
