WEEKEND DEVOTIONAL - SPECIAL POST! Hi everyone my name is Sally Meadows (sallymeadows), and I am a singer/songwriter and author originally from Ontario but now living in Saskatchewan. Laurie asked me to post a weekend devotional on her behalf, so here it is! I came across this video today by David Phelps. The name of the song is The Name Lives On (Jesus is God With Us) and what a delight it is! This video reminds us in a most powerful way that Jesus is always with us: not only in the big moments of our life - like birth, marriage, and death - but also in the little things in life, no matter whether we are a stay-at-home mom or we work outside the home. He whispers to us in times of despair, and he is always with us no matter what we are doing at any given time, and no matter what age we are. The Word says that He will never leave us or forsake us.
