* WEEKEND RAINFALL FORECAST FOR VICTORIA * - Nick - * Weather Situation * A low pressure system forming near Adelaide this morning is expected to move eastwards across northern Victoria late today and tonight, extending across to eastern Victoria early Sunday, then reaching the central Tasman Sea Sunday night. * Victorian forecast for the rest of Saturday * Isolated showers tending to rain areas from the west during the afternoon and evening with the chance of thunderstorms. A cool to mild and mostly cloudy day. Light to moderate southeast to southerly winds tending north to northwesterly over northern districts this afternoon and freshening over the northwest. * Victorian forecast for Sunday 16 November * Rain areas in the east with possible heavy falls, clearing by the early afternoon. Morning thunderstorms possible in the northeast. Isolated showers to follow in the south. Cool in the south, mild in the north with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds extending throughout.
