WEEKEND WRAP It has been a very big week in the Narre Warren South electorate, with some major announcements, the Premier visiting and Ministerial events. This week, as part of the Napthine Governments re-election plan: - the Premier announced a $310m duplication of Thompsons Road, including a grade separation at the Western Port Highway; - the Minister for Public Transport announced toilets at Hallam Station, coming about after the Napthine Government installed plumbing capabilities at the station as a result of the successful PSO program; - the Assistant Treasurer, Hon. Gordon Rich-Phillips MLC announced $120,000 for the Hampton Park Bowls Club; - the Cabinet Secretary, Inga Peulich MLC announced $40,000 for Robert Booth Reserve in Hampton Park; and - I committed to working with the City of Casey, Hampton Park Progress Association, the Hampton Park Football, Cricket, Netball and Tennis Clubs, and the CFA to facilitate improvements to the Robert Booth Reserve and buildings, so that this important community facility can achieve its full potential.
