WEEKLY TRAINING INFO Monday June 17 - Sunday June 23, 2013 NOTES FROM SEAN: "Strength Week #1" in this 6-week cycle was really good. This week will be "Met-Con Week #1" so get ready to feel that lactic acid burn and set some amazing times. This coming Saturday we will do something that I have never done with you (in a large group that is) and that is simply rare.... We are going to to go on a night time group run. On Saturday night at 8pm I want ALL of you to meet me at Veterans park on Valleydale (in the parking lot behind the Jeff State building). Bring a head lamp and invite any of your adventurous friends. You are going to go on a 5K lap of the park as a group. If you have never run at night before it is not only a unique experience it is simply refreshing. While you are there you will see myself and the guys in the “SUCK” prep cycle doing our second “unorthodox training event”. We will be conducting an Oly lift set using our 70lb logs then running a 1 mile loop in weighted vest.... for 24 rounds.. yeah your math is right, a full marathon. Feel free to bring a cooler of beer and some lawn chairs and hang around to cheer us on. Well thats all from me tonight.
