WEEKLY UPDATE: Sunday March 2nd 1.) Team B is setting-up/tearing-down and serving the Seedlings: Kris Gupilan Rashell Gupilan Jason Furr Gracie Furr Alisha Schoenecker Tamara Anderson Kevin Nozari Cole Perry Courtney Waller Andy Waller * Set-up begins at 8:30. Seedlings check-in at 9:15. 2.) This Sunday we are going to be in the book of Matthew again, looking at the difference between the commandments of God & the traditions of men. Sometimes we become more passionate about our man-made traditions, and at the same time, lose our passion for loving God & others. All of us are prone to it, and all of us have done it. Im excited for Jesus to show us another way; a better way. 3.) Sean is working on getting things lined up for 2nd quarter Gospel Communities. The goal is to fully launch onto The City as we move into the 2nd quarter. This means that in the coming weeks, we will have a short training event after a Sunday service to help all of us learn the basics of navigating The City. We will use it to compile prayer requests & needs, to facilitate discussion within groups, to communicate with the church as a whole, to create more opportunities for discipleship & to help new folks get to know those in the church through interactions on The City. Ill keep you posted. 4.) The elders & staff are in the process of thinking through how to better use our Seedlings ministry to teach our kids Biblical truth, and how to better equip our families (and the whole church family) to disciple and train the little ones God has graciously given to us. Please pray for God to give us discernment and clarity. I spent some time this week intentionally praying for all of you. It was one of those days when God just overwhelmed me with a deep conviction that I needed to pray for my church family. It was a long day; prayer is exhausting. But I trust that God used it, and that He led me into it for a reason. Cling to Jesus, brothers & sisters. Settle for nothing less than a real relationship with the Lord, through prayer and fellowship with the church. I love you all, and wish for nothing less than that your hearts would be filled with Gods fullness; content & confident in every hardship. With sincere love for you, RCM
