WEEPING. // i am abundantly thankful for a Love that pursues and heals and brings freedom and life into every fiber of our beings. a Love that teaches us to see all things rightly - including ourselves. a Love that gives us permission to receive all that we are with reverence && joy. acceptance - it is no small thing... this thanksgiving, i can unequivocally say for the first time in...ever...that i fully and wildly love how Jesus made me. like Emily, i have been set free from an eating disorder, rampant self-hatred, and endless comparison and fear, and released to RUN and to DREAM unhindered. { we.are.WORTHY. } not because of our figures. or because of anything that we could ever say or do. but simply because the image of Heaven is imprinted on each of our souls. we are truly, deeply, undeniably beautiful. this thanksgiving, may you receive with JOY all of who you are. may you look in your mirrors && see, maybe for the first time, raw, WEIGHTY, glorious B E A U T Y. Our bodies hold a weight of glory too exquisite for us to hide. This earth is ravenous for love, for grace. and Love Himself has made these bodies His resting place...we have the most marvelous weight surging through our limbs.
