WELCOME BACK FROM MID-SEM BREAK! FUNDRAISING BBQ Dont forget that tomorrow is our fundraising BBQ to be held out the front of the Chemistry Building from 11-2pm. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Annual General meeting will be held on TUESDAY 28TH OCTOBER from 6:30pm until 8pm. Its an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the year gone by, have a peek of what goes on behind the scenes and elect the new committee for 2015. The following positions will be contested: • President • Vice President (highly recommended) • Secretary • Treasurer • Social Director (x2) In the interests of efficiency, we ask that everyone who is interested in a committee position pleas submit their names to me before the date and as we move to ballot voting- please bring a pen and paper on the day! AUSTRALIAN UNI GAMES Have you been living under rock? If not, then you know we came third! Fantastic effort to everybody involved. I think that many of you surprised yourselves with your performances. The majority of our competitors entered in both poomsae and sparring, which was quite rare back in my day. Our student coaches, Sam and Jess, have been a great example of what can be achieved with hard work and perseverance- I hope you will all join me in wishing them luck as they head off to Mexico to compete in the World Championships for poomsae.
