When we look at ourselves, country and continent, all we see are problems and excuses but the rest of the world looks at us as a continent and they see a ripe market. Within just two years of MTNs operation in Nigeria, they became the second most profitable telecommunication service in the world. For 30years or there about, Nitel could not deliver more than 54,000 telephone lines to 120M Nigerian populace but within 4years, MTN gave 12M Nigerians access to telecom service. Dont also forget that MTN and Nitel were given licence to provide mobile telecom service the same day. Today Mobitel is history. Multi-Links and three other telecom Companies were established by four different EDs from the defunct Nitel and today they are also history. The difference is just the POWER OF INSIGHT.
