WELCOME! WE PROVIDE SERVICES:: SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS CARE Since Klaipėda city council allocated a plot near oncology clinic, somehow naturally we came up with the idea to associate our religious life with cancer patients. In his Decree Bishop of Telšiai J. Boruta says: “The friars will provide spiritual assistance for cancer patients not only in their friary but they will also be responsible for pastoral counselling in the clinic itself, i.e. they will visit patients and administer the sacrament of anointing of the sick, celebrate the Eucharist and perform other pastoral services in the clinic.” SOCIAL SERVICES: to give advice and information about the necessary social assistance in solving diseases influenced by social problems. The essence of this ministry is to create the best and most comfortable surroundings for the people. PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT: To mitigate the psychological consequences of the disease and to help survive the disease caused difficulties (counseling, self-help groups). INFORMATION SERVICES: preparation of publications and information on oncological diseases and their treatments, spiritual and psychological care, social services and so on. COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES: gives positive emotions, helps to cope with stress, improve physical and mental health. We are providing professional: • Music therapie; • Art therapie; • Body activity support ant relaxation therapies. • Occupational therapies.
