WELL....Jim is in the hospital via a ER visit last night! He has been battling kidney stones for over two years now off and on. He has had them blasted but they keep coming back, UGH! So he has known for awhile that he had them AGAIN and he was scheduled to have them blasted in September. Well on Thursday night it appears that one of them was moving and became lodged; Poor guy was doubled over in pain, face cold and clammy with sweat pouring off of it, nauseous....it was HORRIBLE : ( So after MANY hours at the ER and an X-Ray and CT Scan, blood work, urine sample, etc. they decided to keep him overnight for observation and to be able to continue giving him strong pain meds, and IV antibiotics for UTI! Today he is much better, they were going to go ahead and blast them today but Urologist said that he thinks he can pass it without doing the surgery right now so they are keeping him again tonight, pumping him full of fluids in hopes that he WILL pass it while in the hospital, and if he does, and the pain gets unbearable, they can give him more heavy pain meds. Sounds like if he is feeling like he was today, he will come home tomorrow : ) Praying that he will be feeling better soon and that he can get rid of these damn things once and for all....SOOOOOOON!!!!
