WELL #RaiderNation to say I was pissed at the beginning of Day 1 of Free Agency would be a huge understatement. About 5 min. before the start of free agency, I get word that the Raiders had resigned D.McFadden for a 4 million 1 year deal. I was instantly enraged. Dude hasnt done anything but get injured his whole career. Not to mention he has let down his teammates and Raiders fans. Then 5 min. later announcements come out that the Raiders had lost their own Young LT Jared Veldheer to Cards, and Young DE Lamar Houston to Bears. So we signed a guy who didnt deserve it and lost 2 guys that did deserve it. Not to mention they both only got like 7 million a year. Then they announce the Raiders signed Roger Saffold a Guard who we gave Left Tackle money to. In other words, we overpaid for him. Then the Raiders did nothing for like 8 hours. In the mean while I hear their best RB form last year Rashad Jennings was going to the Giants. Now Im more pissed off. We could have got him back really cheap, instead of McFadden. Finally they announced we were flying out a RT Austin Howard from NY Jets. I knew that was a done deal when Jets fans were acting like he was already gone. Then I finally pieced together that the Raiders had just revamped their Offensive line. Starters should look like this 2nd Year LT Menelik Watson, G Roger Saffold, C Wisnewski, RG Khalif Barnes, RT Austin Howard. It should be a bigger and more Physical Group. If Watson struggles they will switch Saffold and Watson. M. Watson is Huge,Powerful and very athletic. I calmed down a bit until Broncos signed ex Patriots Pro Bowl CB A.Talib to a huge deal. Yes, I got pissed again . We have all this money and we Lost 3 guys and we signed only 2 1/2. 1/2 BEING MCFADDEN. McFadden deal only 100k guaranteed 1.5 million. Only 4 million max if he plays all 16 games. I still hated the move. Hes just taking up space for a better more durable RB. With the move of upgrading our RT I wouldnt be shocked if they now sign Michael Vick, Left handed Quarterback whos blindside is the Right Tackle position. Not the move I would make but, well see. Hopefully a better Day 2. Maybe they can start plugging holes on our D-Line and Secondary. Maybe get a Wide Receiver like Decker or James Jones? Whispers of Raiders talking to RB Andre Brown. I like Ben Tate or Knowshon Moreno!
