Olympic medalist Kellie Wells won the 100 m hurdles in 12.75 (+1.4, Russian Kondakova second 12.84) and World bronze winner in shot put Dylan Armstrong from Canada 21.19 in his event. Here second Jamaican O´Dayne Richards 20.13. But it was not a good day for Jamaican sprinters. Moscow bronz medalist Nesta Carter clocked 10.27 (-1.5) and was beaten by US Isiah Young 10.22 in the 100 m. Unbeaten in after Moscow period Carrie Russell with 11.14 (-0.4) was second to US Alexandria Anderson 11.05 in women 100 m. World Champion LaShawn Merritt topped the 400 m in 45.18 over Jamaican Rusheen McDonald 45.56 and home Matteo Galvan 45.57. Olympic winner Aries Merritt ended his season with 13.30 (+0.7) hurdles win. Another London hero Felix Sanchez was 5th in the 400 m hurdles (50.24), the race was won by US Justin Gaymon 49.37 with Briton Richard Yates second 49.60. Relay World champion Antonina Krivoshapka won women 400 m in 50.86 ahead of US Jessica Beard 51.05, Jamaican Stephanie McPherson 51.24, Libania Grenot 51.58 and another Moscow finalist Kseniya Ryzhova 51.89. Giordano Benedetti won the 800 m in 1:46.93 and Russian Yelena Korobkina the 1500 m 4:11.42. Russian Olympic medalist Yevgeniya Kolodko got the shot put 19.67, Romanian Cristina Sandu the long jump 643 (+0.8) and men triple Will Claye with 16.75 (-1.9) over Fabrizio Schembri 16.63 (-0.9).
