WEM day 7 Prayer points: Ephesians 1:17-18 AMP [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), Prayer is a dialogue, not just you talking talking. Its between you and God. To pray effectively, we must listen to God as well as speak. Since we have been called by God into a loving relationship, we must see the importance of what that kind of relationship brings about. Whether hearing Gods Word in a better understanding of the Scripture or His divine direction for our lives, knowing how to listen to God is extremely important. 1. Pray that God may grant you the spirit of wisdom. 2. Pray that God may grant you the spirit of revelation. 3. Pray that God may grant you the spirit of understanding. 4. Pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened to know the mysteries of God as you surrender to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. 5. Pray that God may start to show you who you really are in Christ Jesus.
