WEVE GOT A COUPLE OF NEW ADDITIONS to our selections here at Crispinos! After playing around a bit with our Mothers Day Specialty Pizza, we figured out that all those ingredients (Roasted Red Pepper and Smoked Gouda Cream, Crab Meat, Artichoke Hearts, Spinach, Bacon, Mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano) worked out MUCH better in a Calzone, than on a Pizza. We made the change, and youve GOTTA get one if you love Crab. And Ive gotta say, this aint no fake surimi artificial crab crap that some places might use, this is a combination of backfin and lump crab. Well run this for the next month or so, and if it gains a little more traction, then well run it on the menu...if not, it might just be a Spring/Summer kinda thing. FOR THE BEER LOVERs out there, we just added Yuengling Summer Wheat to our Beer Selection!!! I tried a bottle tonight after we closed, and I have to say, this is a pretty great bottle of beer AND it seems as though it would go really well with our new Calzone, or with a Godfather Sub, Roast Beef Melt, or Meatlovers Pizza.
