WEll, I guess it is time to announce our new status around here. In case some of you do not know it, we have just become the legal temporary guardians of Courtaney 17 (granddaughter), Xavier 8 (grandson) and D.J. 1 (great grandson). The circumstances are irrelevant. The adjustments are getting better each day. My sleep and quiet times have been diminished quickly. However I am also enjoying the wonderful moments of togetherness and chances to teach them so much more about life than what they have been subjected to. I do however have to get myself in a readiness state for the many trials Xavier is encountering at school. He has been to school for 3 days and I have been called by the teacher 4 times, has had to go up to the school 3 times this last time because he was kicked off of the bus on his 1st day. WE love them dearly and would have never let them go into foster homes if we could have prevented it and I know the LOrd is guiding me through every mountain and every valley. Everything changes nothing ever stays the same and so we are adjusting to having them live here versus a visit on holidays and summers. Prayers welcome.
