For people who remember Reggie Perrin, bit of a cock up on the parking front today. Queue to get in, barrier stuck up on the out, so everyone was going out but the free spaces counter was not allowing people to get in as the FULL counter had not reset itself. Bit of scurrying round by security staff in hi-vis jackets later and things started to get sorted, but by this time a long inbound queue had built up – just glad I wasn’t in it and had already parked. And then the barrier failed as I was coming out. Reprise of hi-vis dressed people. Sandy had to see our doc today – she has a pretty painful knee and can’t walk. So she is now spending her time with her leg in resting mode. Good thing about it she now can’t kick me into submission. She has to do as she’s told, for a change. That’s a first, then.
