WGCA Rep Final Teams 2014 -2015 for VMCU Carnival Commencing 5th January 2015 1) Congratulations to all the players who are representing the association and thank you to all that trained for any of the teams. We respect many are very unlucky not to be selected, as the selection process is difficult. To have teams in the highest divisions in all age groups will provide an excellent challenge for the players, with formidable opposition including MPCA 40 clubs and the large DDCA. All VMCU competitions are of a high standard, significantly higher than club cricket. 2) These Final Squads will train on 21st December 2014 at OFFICER CC at the following times. Under 12.1 and 12.2 at 9.00am - 10.00pm, games on ( Synthetic Pitch) Under 14.2 and 14.2 at 10.00 - 11.00pm, games on (Synthetic Pitch) Under 16 & 18 at 11.00 – 12.00 pm, games on (Turf and Synthetic Pitch) Presentation of WGCA Caps and Playing Shirts will commence 15 minutes after the respective teams finish training. Under 12’s at 10.15am. ** The cost to players making the final squads is $25 per player which covers all, including the WGCA cap, shirt, lunch on 21st Dec, games, balls etc. this needs to be paid on 21st December to the Coach or Team Manager of each age group to confirm the acceptance of the place in the team. Note the minimum any other association charges that we are aware of is $50, our cost is low largely due to the sponsorship of Icon – thank you to Icon. 3) The Fixtures for the VMCU Carnival are on the my Cricket Website see the normal site, however click on Rep / Carnival Teams and select the particular age group. 4) For home games in VMCU Carnival, the home side is expected to supply Lunch.
