WHAT A BEAUUUTIFUL DAY!! Today marks the very last game of my collegiate career on home turf and I get to go out and play it with some of the very best athletes Ive grown to love as sisters. This journey started so many years ago when my little girl self fell in love with the game. Not only did it bring so much joy to my life, but it landed me so many opportunities. Blessed is how I feel about having competed 3 seasons as an NCAA athlete. Blessed is how I feel about having travelled all around Canada and the US to do what I love most. But most of all I feel blessed to be walking away having developed friendships and mentors that will stay with me for a lifetime. A special moment for me is having befriended Chelsea Jay Julie Paul as friends on the field, but more notably as some of my first friends in life. We all picked different schools, Chelsea at Ottawa U, Julie a 5 year Thundie, and me spending my time in America with my Dawg family. To be ending my career wearing the same jersey as these two is a remarkable feeling. To the rest of my Thunder fam, time to send Seneca home. I love you girls to the moon and back. ALWAYS BE MY THUNDER. A DAWG IS A DAWG FOR LIFE
