Disappointed to hear that Malala Yousafzai didnt win the Nobel Peace Prize (read it on Rebelle Society: bit.ly/164TSr2) but smiling from ear to ear about Alice Munro - my favorite contemporary Short Story writer, Writing Grandma & Heroine, winning the Nobel in Literature, at age 82. I would really hope this would make people see the short story as an important art, not just something you played around with until you got a novel.” If youre interested in the art of short story, shes your teacher.
